Duck Donuts in East Cobb has announced that it will close its doors for good on Saturday, August 17, 2025. After six years of serving warm, made-to-order donuts, owners Christine and Drew Doring shared the news with customers on the store’s Facebook page, expressing their gratitude for the community’s support. In a follow-up comment, Christine Doring clarified that the closure is not due to financial reasons, adding that they’ve built a strong small business during their time in East Cobb. JINYA Ramen Bar opened on November 7, 2024, bringing its authentic Japanese ramen experience to the area. Founded by Tomo Takahashi in Tokyo in 2000, JINYA Ramen Bar is known for its rich, slow-simmered broths and perfectly textured noodles. Inspired by his father’s restaurant in Japan, Tomo created JINYA to offer delicious, reasonably priced ramen that honors traditional Japanese flavors.
