Lucky Strike Kennesaw is bringing a new level of energy to the local entertainment scene. The venue was rebranded from Bowlero to Lucky Strike on July 11, 2025 to reflect a more modern image, incorporating trendy design and a curated menu. Portillo’s Opening in Kennesaw

Portillo’s, the iconic Chicago street food restaurant, is bringing its first Georgia location to 790 Cobb Place Boulevard in Kennesaw, in the former On The Border location. Since its humble beginnings in 1963, when founder Dick Portillo opened “The Dog House” in Villa Park, IL, this legendary brand has become synonymous with Chicago-style cuisine.

The Kennesaw location will offer Portillo’s signature menu items, including Italian beef sandwiches, slow-roasted for four hours and served on freshly baked French bread, and their iconic Chicago-style hot dogs “dragged through the garden” with classic toppings.
